Food has always been my love language. Growing up, I would beg my parents to let me stay up later and later watching the Food Network (Unwrapped & Good Eats over cartoons, every time) and happily held the title of head taste tester when it came to cookie dough. I never missed a chance to help set up for dinner parties and you could count on me to go all out for holidays (seriously, ask me about my Halloween costumes). Big or small, I’ve always loved the details. My family taught me to never show up empty-handed, celebrate the little things, be kind and of course, never skip dessert. Post-college (go Frogs!), when I started hosting on my own, I realized there was something missing. There weren’t cookies that tasted like the dough, made with high-quality ingredients, were fun and theme-worthy, had a bite-sized option, and were thoughtful to gift. So I started baking, testing, and sharing and Cookies by Caroline was born! I graduated from SMU Cox School of Business (pony up!!) with my MBA and was set to start in the banking world, but the cookie business had other plans. Thanks to YOU I am able to live out my dream. I'm so excited for you to follow along and celebrate all aspects of life. For me, it’s never just been about cookies. It’s about tradition, joy, and making every moment — big or small — a little sweeter.
